Itinerary - day by day

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park

Drive 3–4 hours from Arusha or Moshi with a scenic route and lunch en route. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

Framed by the towering cliffs of the Great Rift Escarpment, Lake Manyara is teeming with wildlife. Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and—if you’re lucky—tree-climbing lions. This park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 400 species recorded.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After an early breakfast, drive 30–60 minutes to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater shelters a high concentration of wildlife in a stunning setting. Spot lions, black rhinos, buffalo, hyenas, and countless bird species in this natural amphitheater. You may also glimpse the local Masai herding cattle along the rim.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha or Moshi

Early morning transfer (30–60 minutes) to Tarangire National Park for a game drive.

Tarangire is known for its striking baobab trees, seasonal migrations, and the highest concentration of elephants in northern Tanzania. You may also see lions, wildebeests, ostriches, and rare species such as oryx and the long-necked gerenuk. Return to Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro Airport in the afternoon.
